<p>It would depend on what kind of shower it was. If you did a heavy workout and took a really cold shower, you might go into shock. It would probably have to be really extreme though. You would probably want to cool down naturally first, then take a warm shower. After your body has settled, and you want to take a cold shower, then change the water to cold.</p>
<p>My instructor said that abrupt cooling down would by having a shower immediately after a strenuous workout would cause some bad effects in our body&#8217;s system. It is recommended to have at least a short rest before doing so.</p>
