It would depend on what kind of shower it was. If you did a heavy workout and took a really cold shower, you might go into shock. It would probably have to be really extreme though. You would probably want to cool down naturally first, then take a warm shower. After your body has settled, and you want to take a cold shower, then change the water to cold.

My instructor said that abrupt cooling down would by having a shower immediately after a strenuous workout would cause some bad effects in our body’s system. It is recommended to have at least a short rest before doing so.

So, If you are doing a really strenuous activity, than wait a few minutes. But if you were just doing intermediate exercising, than no, you can take one 30-60 seconds after your workout.
